Ava's blessing dress

Ava was blessed today by her dad. I made her dress. It was a little bit of a challenge finding all the fabric. The pattern is from Ottobre 1/2003 #3, size 62.The lining fabric is bearissima swiss batiste. The sheer is a polyester from fabric.com. Ava's mom, Jamie wanted a little more something on the bodice, so I added some ribbon, and then the bow is attached seperately.
I didn't get a good picture of her in the dress, as soon as I get one from Jamie, I will post it.

I've added the photo of Ava in her dress!!

Davin's quilt

Davin's 3rd birthday was March 12th. So I was a little late getting his quilt done. But only by 10 days, which considering all I was doing to get the house more sellable, plus having good weather to deliver the quilt, it wasn't too bad. And Davin was very good about it all, and excited when I finally delivered the quilt.
Davin likes to play soccer with his dad, so his bedroom has a soccer theme. The back of the quilt is a red fleece with soccer balls embroidered on it. The fleece is bleeding red to the front of the quilt. I should have washed the fleece fabric a few more times. The contrast of black and white with the soccer balls is good, the cats playing soccer is fun, and the red is a good accent color.
